In 1969, a ticket to Woodstock Music and Art Fair would have cost you $8.00 to go to, until they were forced to make it a free concert, and that is just for one day. Today a Woodstock ticket can sell for about $1,000 dollars on eBay, just to have a piece of this memorabilia. These tickets sell for so much now due to the huge impact that Woodstock had on America at the time it was happening, it was the poster child for free love, drugs, and sex. It was also an opposition to the Vietnam War while it was going on.

The classic poster from Woodstock, that showed all of the people who would be featured in show and where it would be held at. This is probably the most famous image from Woodstock, like the brochure it has the drawing of the dove sitting on the guitar. The dove is meant to symbolize peace, hoping to protest the Vietnam War this dove promotes peace which was one of the main messages of Woodstock.

A monument was built in place of where Woodstock was held, it is a commemoration of how one music and arts festival defined an entire generation and an entire culture for about 40 years now. This is the plaque that is in place in the field where Woodstock was born.
